First week is free, then $5 per woman per day, $1 per child per day. No one is refused service due to inability to pay fee. Donation of food stamps/cash are accepted.

Description
(YWCA of Kauai Family Violence Shelter) Operates a shelter that offers safety and services for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. The services provided include room and board, counseling, support groups, a 24 hour hotline, TRO's, court advocacy, 24 hour crisis intervention and advocacy with other community agencies. Also provides services for the children in the shelter in hopes of stopping the intergenerational cycle of violence.
